Whether you are a beginner or have experience with clay, I offer classes and experiences tailored to the student. From fun and relaxing painting parties to cumulative pottery and handbuilding classes, everyone is sure to find their happy place at Barnhouse Pottery!
Handbuilding and Wheel Throwing for All Levels

Guided Clay Studio is a relaxed, guided studio session for adult students looking to work with clay in a supportive, small-group setting. Held every Tuesday evening for four weeks, this class is tailored to the interests and experience levels of those attending. Students may explore handbuilding, wheel throwing, or a combination of both, with individual instruction and demonstrations offered as needed. Whether you are building on previous skills, starting a new project, or trying clay for the first time, Guided Studio provides time, space, and guidance to grow at your own pace.

Adults Only
Gather your friends for a fun and creative Paint & Sip Wine Cup Party! Guests will paint a ceramic wine cup while sipping wine and enjoying light snacks in a relaxed, welcoming studio setting. This is a guided, low-pressure experience designed for fun, conversation, and creativity—no experience necessary. After the party, cups will be glazed and fired, making them food-safe and ready to enjoy.

Kids 6-15

In this two-part class, kids will design and build a woodland fairy garden–themed clay tile using slabs and simple sculpted details. Inspired by forests and fairy tales, students will add texture, shapes, and patterns before glazing their finished piece in the second session. A creative project perfect for students new to clay, as well as experienced young artists.
Ages 6-15
July 16th and 23rd
6:00-7:30 pm
Celebrate summer with clay! In this two-session class, kids will hand-build a small snack or trinket dish inspired by a Summer Beach Party theme. Students will explore pinch and slab techniques, add fun textures and beach-inspired details, and finish their piece with colorful glazes in the second session. No prior clay experience needed.
